ABOUT CLAY COVE

Clay Cove was founded in 2002 to specialize in teaching hand built pottery-making to children and adults. Pottery-making is the process of transforming clay into ceramics. It is a therapeutic and personal self-discovering activity that:
-
Encourages creativity and releases work stress
-
Enhances children's fine motor skills, focus, and spatial intelligence
-
Provides a rejuvenating and self-fulfilling experience
-
Promotes mental wellness: Recent documentation has shown that that creating ceramics can help combat depression

The Heart of Clay Cove
Sessions are conducted by Moni in the studio. Moni is both a passionate pottery instructor and a certified art therapist who believes deeply in the healing power of creativity. Moni also creates her own beautiful pottery works, each piece crafted with care and intention. Browse and purchase Moni's handcrafted ceramics in Clay Cove's online store, where each piece brings warmth and artistry into your home.

"My work is deeply inspired by those I journey with: children discovering form in clay, professionals reconnecting with creativity, persons living with dementia, and individuals in palliative care. Each encounter is a quiet reminder to seize, embrace, and cherish the present moment."

Young Potters Exhibition
Every two years, Clay Cove holds an exhibition showcasing the creative works of our young potters. This event celebrates the artistic growth and achievements of children who have participated in our pottery courses.
The exhibition features a diverse collection of handcrafted ceramics, from functional pieces to imaginative sculptures, each reflecting the unique personality and creativity of its young maker.
It's a wonderful opportunity for families to come together to appreciate the talent and dedication of our students while witnessing the joy that pottery-making brings to children's lives.
